Thin Film Coating

Temmek Optics designs its own thin-film coating and simulates them with comprehensive software. All coatings are done in house with modern thin-film coating machines controlled optically and electronically. All coatings comply with the MIL standards.
Temmek offers the construction of thin films on optical elements using its sophisticated high-vacuum equipment to reach optimal performance of the element to customer’s specifications.

Diamond Turning

Temmek Optics Ltd. invests most of its efforts to provide you with the latest manufacturing technology. Our Diamond turning & fly cutting operations is based on the latest modern machinery, led by experienced physicists, professional programmers and operators who can provide you with ultimate design capabilities as well as the implementation of your design.

Temmek Optics uses advanced turning lathes, with extensive experience implemented in the production of aspheric and diffractive surfaces of high accuracy on wide range of substrates.

Our most commonly used substrates include: Ge, Si, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, GaAs, PMMA, Al and Cu.

 
 

Precision Optical and Metal Manufacturing 

Temmek Optics holds extensive optical fabrication machinery and mechanical manufacturing equipment, ranging from simple polishing up to Diamond – Turning and precision CNC metal machining.

Assembly of lens systems is done in dedicated clean rooms, while optical testing is aided by interferometers and own designed holograms & holographic measuring equipment.

Temmek Optics Design and manufacture any type of lens, including prisms, mirrors, windows and domes, in plane, spherical and various aspheric surfaces, and in a variety of materials: glass, ceramics and metal, as well as Ge, ZnS, ZnSe, CaF2, and various other crystals

Measurements

Using sophisticated state-of-the-art machines for large CNC measurements, Temmek-optics Quality-Assurance department controls all in- house procedures and processes. From the ordering of raw materials through the inspection of finalized items as defined in ISO-9001 and MIL- I-45208A.
The Gal Shvav group delivers detailed and computerized final inspection reports aided by the most modern CNC validators, interferometers and a talisurf profilometer. Our investment in sophisticated machinery guarantees precise, reliable and timely reports regarding the specified components you have designed.
Temmek offers Modular optical test bench to measure Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) and transmittance of optical components in the Visible, SWIR, MWIR and LWIR spectral ranges. In addition to the basic MTF and transmittance measurements, other lens parameters such as EFL, BFL/FFL, distortion, and field curvature can be measured
